- Departures: The departure monitor shows real-time information on the next departures and arrivals from a stop or nearby stops based on your current location (where available).
- Trips: The journey planner helps you find the quickest route from point A to point B. Simply enter the name of a stop, point of interest, or address in Munich or the surrounding districts as your starting point or destination. You can even use GPS to input your current location. The results include footpath directions and the option to purchase the appropriate ticket directly from the journey planner.
- Disruptions: Stay informed about any disruptions that may impact your daily commute. Disruptions are displayed by lines and their operation names. Please note that descriptions of timetable changes are currently only available in German.
- Tickets: Easily purchase selected MVV tickets as mobile tickets within the "Tickets" menu. Register once in one of the listed shops (offering the same range of tickets) and select your ticket before starting your journey. The app accepts payments via Google Pay, credit cards, or direct debit. It's important to remember to bring your official photo ID as electronic tickets are personalized.
- Network plans: Access various public transport network plans and tariff maps through the MVV-App. While most of the plans are in German, there are also several available in English. For example, you can find the general plan of the regional train, suburban train, and underground in the entire MVV area.
